Products Liability

Defective products cases involve an area of law known as Products Liability. Defective products harm millions of people every year, and manufacturers of products can be sued for design defects, improper safety devices and manufacturing defects. Products liability cases usually involve: dangerous toys, automobile design, sport-utility vehicle rollovers, gas tank explosions, seat belt failures, improperly designed consumer and household products, industrial machinery and equipment, farm machinery, tractors and equipment, products causing explosions and burns, and aviation products.
Should I hire a lawyer?
Product liability claims and lawsuits against manufacturers and retailers are very difficult to maintain. Corporate attorneys will fight vigorously to make sure their products are not found dangerous, which could open a floodgate of lawsuits and tarnish the company's reputation. Many companies will think nothing of spending millions to fight off defective product lawsuits. The result is that very few attorneys are qualified and capable of handling these types of cases. Use the State Lawyers Directory to find a lawyer that is right for your needs and legal situation.
