(a)   The legislative body of each municipal corporation may adopt an
ordinance for the licensing, control, location, or maintenance within
its jurisdiction of a business establishment that allows on its
premises any activity involving nudity and sexual displays listed in
Article 2B, § 10-405(c) through (f) of the Code.
  (b)   (1)   A person who violates an ordinance adopted under this section is guilty
of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not
exceeding 6 months and a fine of not less than $500.
    (2)   Each day on which a violation continues is a separate offense.
