(1) Upon receipt of the
application, inspection certificates and the criminal history, the department
shall, upon a finding of compliance, issue a basic day care license to the
applicant. The license shall be valid for two (2) years and shall be posted in
a conspicuous place at the day care center.
(2) After the criminal history check has been completed for any person,
it shall not be necessary to repeat the check for renewal of a license. The
department may, however, require the applicant for renewal of a license to
declare on a form provided by the department that the applicant is in
compliance with the original standards and conditions required for issuance of
a license.
(3) The department shall maintain a list of all licensees for public use.
