The state registrar
shall be entitled to receive a fee of four dollars ($4.00) for the making of
certified copies of records or for a search of the files when no copies are
made, provided that the national agency in charge of vital statistics may
obtain copies or certifications of data from records without payment of fees,
provided that the state incurs no expense in connection therewith. The fee
shall be reviewed by the board of health and welfare, and future changes in
the fee and enactment of fees for other services shall be established by
regulations adopted by the board.
