37-1931 - NO FEE FOR INSPECTION -- OVERTIME PAY -- DISPOSITION OF FEES
No
fee shall be charged by the state of Idaho to any person, firm, corporation or
association having carcasses of animals inspected as in this act provided, if
such inspection service is provided during normal working hours as designated
by the director.
In the event any person, firm, corporation or association having carcasses
of animals inspected as provided herein should require the services of an
official inspector on any Saturday, Sunday or holiday, or for more than eight
(8) hours on any other day Monday through Friday after the inspector has
worked for eight (8) hours on that day, the hours so worked by the inspector
shall be considered as overtime pay hours. The director of the state of Idaho
shall be authorized to determine the hourly overtime pay rates and the rates
shall be charged to the party requesting such inspection. The director is
further authorized to pay the official inspector overtime pay rates in
addition to his usual salary.
Such fees shall be collected by the meat inspection service of the
department of agriculture and deposited in the state treasury in the meat
inspection fund. All wages and expenses of the meat inspectors appointed under
the provisions of this act shall be paid out of either the meat inspection
fund, the general fund, or any other moneys to be made available for this
purpose.
