(1) Intangible
property held for the owner by a court, state or other government,
governmental subdivision or agency, public corporation, or public authority
which remains unclaimed by the owner for more than one (1) year after becoming
payable or distributable is presumed abandoned.
(2) If witness and juror fees or mileage payments are not claimed by the
owner within one (1) year of the date of issuance of a check or warrant, the
fees or mileage payments shall remain the property of the county and shall be
remitted to the district court fund.
