5-333 - IMMUNITY OF UNDERGROUND MINE RESCUE PARTICIPANTS, THEIR EMPLOYERS AND REPRESENTATIVES
IMMUNITY OF UNDERGROUND MINE RESCUE PARTICIPANTS, THEIR EMPLOYERS
AND REPRESENTATIVES. No person or persons engaged in underground mine rescue
or recovery work who, in good faith, render(s) emergency care, rescue,
assistance or recovery services at the scene of any emergency in a mine in
this state, shall be liable for any civil damages as a result of any act or
omission by such person(s) in rendering such emergency care, rescue,
assistance or recovery service.
Neither the employer nor a labor organization which represents any
person(s) entitled to the immunity provided in this act shall be liable for
any civil damages as a result of any act or omission of any person(s) entitled
to such immunity.
