D.W.I. and SPEEDING TICKETS
1) D.W.I: Driving While Intoxicated or other criminal charges in New York can be an extremely serious matter. While you may have a family lawyer or friend looking to ?help you out,? when it comes to these charges you cannot afford to rely on a lawyer who may not be well-versed in New York DWI, Penal or Criminal Procedure Laws.
These are the areas of law I am most passionate about. If you've been arrested for a criminal offense or even received a traffic ticket, you should get timely, accurate information from a professional. Since 1990 my practice has focused on the defense of persons charged with crimes, DWI, and traffic-related matters.
It is critical that you have the information early which you will need to make good decisions. You must know how the charges and understand the choices you make can affect your welfare, as well as, your family's future. A DWI can result in serious consequences and have damaging implications. There are many undesirable effects of being charged with DWI, which may include:
High fines
DMV driver's assessment
License restriction
License suspension
License revocation
Alcohol assessment and treatment
Probation
Jail
Increased insurance premiums/cancellation of policy
Loss or limitation of employment
And, more.
I am a former town prosecutor who will fight to defend your rights. I have prosecuted over 2,500 vehicular offenses and defended motorists in New York on D.W.I. charges since 1990. I truly enjoy defending motor vehicle offenses; whether a DWI charge or a speeding ticket. It happens to good people from every walk of life.
2) SPEEDING TICKETS: I am often asked by motorists if it is worth hiring a lawyer for a traffic ticket -- the simple answer is "yes!"
Once you consider the potential penalties on a speeding ticket(e.g., suspension/revocation of license or driving privileges, high fines, spikes in insurance premiums or outright cancellation, plus DMV assessments), time involved in learning the process ("a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing"), repairing procedural errors you might make, and finally, your appearing in court, the answer becomes quite obvious.
Retain my services and you will not be disappointed. Once you sign my authorization you will not need to appear in court in most traffic ticket cases.
All of my clients get the professional representation they need and the personal service they deserve!
