Merv Waage served as Vice President of all Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys for the State of Texas from 2002 to 2006. Merv was responsible for initiating the First International Bankruptcy Seminar in Paris, France in 2005. Merv has been speaker at numerous bankruptcy seminars and served as Course Director for the 20th Annual Advanced Consumer Bankruptcy Course held in Houston, Texas in September of 2004. Merv has filed over 17,000 case over 33 years. Merv has been a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas since 1986. Merv has been a featured guest for several radio and T.V. programs. Merv was featured in the New York Times on August 21st, 2005 in an article which was diplayed nationwide. This New York Times article was entitled: "Bankruptcy Filings Spike as Law Change Looms".
