Section 2-302.1

      (a)      To qualify for a license to provide hearing aid services, an applicant shall be an individual who meets the requirements of this section.

      (b)      The applicant shall be of good moral character.

      (c)      The applicant shall be at least 18 years old.

      (d)      The applicant shall be a high school graduate or the equivalent.

      (e)      (1)      Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, the applicant shall pass an examination given by the Board under this subtitle.

            (2)      Except for an applicant who holds a valid license to provide hearing aid dispenser services in another state, the applicant shall obtain 6 months training under the supervision of a licensed hearing aid dispenser prior to taking the examination given by the Board.
