(a)      (1)      The salary of the Chairman of the County Board is:

                  (i)      $3,820 for calendar years 1999 through 2002; and

                  (ii)      $5,000 per year beginning January 1, 2003 and for each subsequent year.

            (2)      The Chairman is entitled, for travel and other expenses, to $1,500 in calendar year 1999 and each subsequent year.

      (b)      (1)      The salary of the Vice Chairman of the County Board is:

                  (i)      $3,500 for the calendar years 1999 through 2002; and

                  (ii)      $4,000 per year beginning January 1, 2003 and each subsequent year.

            (2)      The Vice Chairman is entitled to $600 each year for travel and other expenses.

      (c)      (1)      The salary of a member of the County Board is:

                  (i)      $3,185 for the calendar years 1998 through 2002; and

                  (ii)      $4,000 per year beginning January 1, 2003 and each subsequent year.

            (2)      Each member is entitled to $600 each year for travel and other expenses.

      (d)      Each salary provided under this section shall be paid on a quarterly basis.
