The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission is continued as a body corporate, to have and exercise the powers, duties, and functions provided in this article. It is the same agency as that with the same name created by Chapter 448 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1927, as subsequently amended from time to time. Hereafter in this article it may be referred to as "the Commission" or as "Commission".
