Section 11C-1

      (a)      The County Commissioners of Dorchester County may adopt regulations concerning the maintenance and operation of public docks, piers, wharves, and harbor facilities owned or leased by the county.

      (b)      The regulations authorized under this section may include provisions for permits, berths, mooring, swimming, trash disposal and removal, and sunken vessels.

      (c)      The County Commissioners may adopt penalties for violations of these regulations, including fines of up to $500, imprisonment of up to 6 months, or both.
