Section 11C

      (a)      The provisions of this section apply in the following counties:

            (1)      Dorchester County; and

            (2)      Somerset County.

      (b)      The county commissioners in their respective jurisdictions may regulate fishing from any county bridge, including the limitation or prohibition of fishing.

      (c)      The county commissioners in their respective jurisdictions may regulate docking, mooring, and abandonment of boats or ships at wharves, piers, docks, or other structures or areas at a shore of a harbor, river, or other waterway in the county, including the limitation or prohibition of the activity.

      (d)      The provisions of this section do not apply to boats moored in accordance with regulations adopted by the Department of Natural Resources.
