(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.
(b) "Private corporation" means any corporation, other than a public
corporation, organized pursuant to this article for the purpose of
establishing, operating, and maintaining a foreign trade zone under the
federal Foreign Trade Zones Act.
(c) "Public corporation" means:
(1) The State of Maryland;
(2) Any subdivision of the State;
(3) Any incorporated public authority, commission, agency, or other
corporate instrumentality of the State;
(4) Any incorporated public authority, commission, agency, or other
corporate instrumentality of any subdivision or incorporated
municipality; or
(5) Any incorporated public authority, commission, agency, or other
corporate instrumentality of the State of Maryland and one or more
other states.
