Section 35

      The State's Attorney for each county and the City of Baltimore shall annually give a corporate surety bond payable to the State of Maryland in the penal sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00), with condition that he faithfully perform the duties of said office and account for all funds and property received under color of said office. Such bond shall be deposited with the State Comptroller and the premiums thereof shall be part of the expense of the office of the State's Attorney.
