The board of
directors of any such irrigation district shall apportion the amount owing the
United States to the lands of the district under such amended or new contract,
and such apportionment of benefits shall be made by the board and such amended
or new contract and the apportionment of benefits thereunder shall be
confirmed by the district court in the manner provided by statute for the
apportionment of benefits under a bond issue and for the confirmation of such
contracts and apportionments of benefits.
