41-3426 - EXAMINATION
Every service corporation shall be subject to
examination by the director, with the same rights and powers and in the same
manner as is provided in this code for the examination of insurers; and for
the purposes thereof the following sections of this code shall, to the extent
so applicable, apply as to such a corporation, which, for the purpose of such
application shall be deemed to be an "insurer":
(1) Section 41-219 (examination of insurers);
(2) Section 41-220 (examination of agents, managers, adjusters,
promoters);
(3) Section 41-221 (place of examination);
(4) Section 41-223 (conduct of examination--access to records--correction
of accounts--removal of records);
(5) Section 41-224 (examination--appraisal of assets);
(6) Section 41-225 (obstruction of examination--penalty);
(7) Section 41-226 (examiners--qualifications);
(8) Section 41-227 (examination report);
(9) Section 41-228 (examination expense);
(10) Section 41-229 (witnesses and evidence); and
(11) Section 41-230 (testimony compelled--immunity from prosecution).
