Idaho State Statutes - Idaho Attorney Directory

It is the policy of the state of Idaho in
furtherance of its responsibility to encourage the industrial and economic
growth of the state to the maximum extent consistent with the health and
safety of the public:
1. To institute and maintain programs to encourage widespread
participation in the development and utilization of peaceful uses of nuclear
science and atomic energy; and
2. To institute and maintain a regulatory program for sources of
radiation so as to provide for (a) compatibility with the standards and
regulatory programs of the federal government, (b) a single, effective system
of regulation within the state, and (c) a system consonant insofar as possible
with those of other states.
