| 39-1348 - WARRANTS -- INABILITY TO PAY -- INDORSEMENT |
When any warrant is
presented to the district treasurer for payment, and the same is not paid for
want of funds, the treasurer must endorse on the back of said warrant, "not
paid for want of funds," and shall write thereon the day of presentation and
sign his name thereto, and warrants so endorsed by the treasurer shall draw
interest at a rate established by the board of the hospital district from the
date of endorsement until paid. |
