As soon as may be after the appointment of
the commissioners of said district by the county commissioners the county
commissioners shall engage the services of a registered surveyor or engineer
who shall, for the purpose of compiling data to be presented to the
commissioners of said district, make a survey, maps, estimate of costs of
stumping and clearing, also any other data that may be necessary or required
by said commissioners, at such fee as may be agreed upon between said
registered surveyor or engineer and the county commissioners.
