34-1806 - BINDING OF PETITION AND SIGNATURE SHEETS -- APPROVED MEASURES TO BE PRINTED WITH SESSION LAWS
BINDING OF PETITION AND SIGNATURE SHEETS -- APPROVED MEASURES TO
BE PRINTED WITH SESSION LAWS. When any such initiative or referendum petition
shall be offered for filing the secretary of state shall detach the sheets
containing the signatures and affidavits and cause them all to be attached to
one or more printed copies of the measure so proposed by initiative or
referendum petitions. The secretary of state shall file and keep such
petitions as official public records. The secretary of state shall cause every
such measure so approved by the people to be printed with the general laws
enacted by the next ensuing session of the state legislature with the date of
the governor's proclamation declaring the same to have been approved by the
people.
