33-4810 - PUBLIC EDUCATION INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE
The state
board of education shall, upon consideration of the recommendations of the
superintendent of public instruction, establish a standing subcommittee of the
council to be known as the public education information technology committee,
the purpose of which is to advise the council regarding only primary and
secondary education technology and telecommunications issues pertinent to this
chapter. At a minimum, and not by way of limitation, the public education
information technology committee membership shall include one (1) vocational
education/applied technology teacher, one (1) public librarian, one (1) public
school media specialist, one (1) elementary public school teacher, and one (1)
secondary public school teacher.
