SICK LEAVE IN EXCESS OF STATUTORY MINIMUM AMOUNTS -- PROOF OF
ILLNESS. The board of trustees may fix and establish for the district a period
of annual sick leave and accumulation of sick leave in excess of the amounts
provided herein, in sections 33-1216 and 33-1217, Idaho Code, not
discriminatory between employees, and as in its discretion may appear
necessary, and may require proof of illness in accordance with section
33-1216, Idaho Code.
The state board of education may provide uniform regulations for proof of
illness, including forms for submission of proof, and when so provided, its
regulations shall supersede the regulations of the district in this regard.
