Whenever used in this act the term:
(a) "county" refers to each county in which all or a portion of a
proposed or existing recreation district is situated;
(b) "county commissioners" means the board of county commissioners of the
county;
(c) "clerk" means the clerk of the board of county commissioners of the
county;
(d) "district" means a proposed or existing recreation district organized
under this act;
(e) "board" means the board of directors of a recreation district;
(f) "director" means a member of a board of directors of a recreation
district;
(g) "qualified elector" means a person qualified to vote under the
general election laws of the state.
