22-2521 - ENCLOSURE OF COMBS -- HIVE CONTAINING COMB NOT OCCUPIED BY LIVE BEES -- ABATEMENT
ENCLOSURE OF COMBS -- HIVE CONTAINING COMB NOT OCCUPIED BY LIVE
BEES -- ABATEMENT. (1) No person shall keep any comb which is not occupied by
a live bee colony unless such comb is tightly enclosed so as to prevent access
to the comb by bees, or the director determines that such comb does not
constitute a significant hazard to bees.
(2) Any hive or appliance which contains any comb that is not occupied by
a live bee colony and that is accessible to bees shall be subject to abatement
by methods prescribed by the director. Such methods may include destruction of
the hives or appliances.
