20-529 - APPOINTMENT OF COUNTY PROBATION OFFICERS
The courts in the
several counties of this state shall enter into a contract or agreement for
probation services to the counties or, if the court deems local probation
services are preferable, may appoint one (1) or more persons to serve as
probation officers at the expense of the county with the concurrence of the
county commissioners.
