18-5609 - INDUCING PERSON UNDER EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE INTO PROSTITUTION -- PENALTIES
INDUCING PERSON UNDER EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE INTO PROSTITUTION --
PENALTIES. Every person who induces or attempts to induce a person under the
age of eighteen (18) years to engage in prostitution shall be guilty of a
felony punishable by imprisonment in the state penitentiary for a period of
not less than two (2) years, which may be extended to life imprisonment, or by
a fine not exceeding fifty thousand dollars ($50,000), or by both such fine
and imprisonment.
